Welcome to the directory (“the Platform”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Platform. By creating an account, joining a community, listing a business, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Who we are and what we do
The Platform is a multi-community business directory. It lets communities list local businesses, and lets businesses showcase their products and services and receive enquiries and orders. The Platform is a venue that connects members and businesses. Except where stated, we are not a party to any transaction, contract, or communication between you and any business or community.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Platform. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Communities, listings, and roles
Communities are run by their owners, admins, and moderators, who may approve members, manage listings, and moderate content within their community. Business listings are created and maintained by the people who manage them, who are responsible for the accuracy of their information, pricing, availability, and any claims they make.
4. Orders, payments, and fulfilment
Orders and enquiries placed through the Platform are between you and the business. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, payment, delivery, fulfilment, returns, and after-sales support are arranged directly between you and the business, on the business’s own terms (including any shipping or fulfilment policy shown on its page). We do not process payments on your behalf and are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any goods or services.
5. Content and conduct
You retain ownership of the content you post, and you grant the Platform a licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating the service. You must not post content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable, and you must not misuse the Platform (for example, spamming, scraping, or attempting to disrupt it). We and community moderators may remove content or listings that breach these Terms, including with the assistance of automated tools.
6. Reviews
Reviews should reflect genuine, first-hand experience. Do not post fake, incentivised, or malicious reviews. Businesses may not review themselves. We may remove reviews that breach these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Platform, its software, and its branding are protected by intellectual-property rights. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
8. Privacy
We process personal data to operate the Platform — for example, to manage your account, deliver notifications, and connect you with businesses and communities. Only share personal information you are comfortable making available in the relevant context.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that listings are accurate, that businesses will fulfil their obligations, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any dealings between you and any business or community.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and continued use of the Platform means you accept the revised Terms.
